To Add / Redeem Amazon Gift Card to your Amazon account:
- Locate the gift card code - This is a 16 digit hyphenated code (including hyphens) on your Gift card.
Note: A Gift Card Code is 16 characters long (including hyphens) and will usually contain both letters and numbers (for example AS25-NJZ1JX-CZCP5). You should NOT enter the Gift Card ID in this field.
Go to Your Account
- Click View Amazon Pay Balance
- In the field under Add Gift Card / Voucher Code to Account, enter your claim code and click Add to Your Account
Your gift will be added to your account and you can use these funds to make a purchase.
You may also directly redeem the gift card from your email by clicking on the Add to my Account link. You will be asked to login to your Amazon.in account and your gift card funds will be automatically added to Your Account.
You can view all your gift cards and the associated details in your Manage Gift Cards page.
View Gift Card Balance
When you apply an Amazon.com Gift Card to an order or enter one on Your Account for future purchases, Amazon stores the available balance so you can view it at any time.
To view your available gift card balance:
- Go to View Gift Card Balance in Your Account.
About Amazon Gift Card Restrictions
Amazon.com Gift Cards can't be used to purchase other gift cards or applied to any order containing another gift card. You'll need to provide a credit card, debit card, or other valid payment method to pay for the order if you have gift cards in your Shopping Cart. Amazon.com Gift Cards can't be transferred to another account once the claim code has been redeemed. Amazon.com Gift Cards aren't returnable or refundable, except as required by law.
